Jim Taylor

MSN, RN, APRN, C-NPT

I have been been a nurse for 26 years. I have worked in various fields such as adult acute care rehab, adult ICU, Pediatric Emergency and Pediatric Air Medical transport. I have been a nurse practitioner for 5 years and worked in orthopedics for the first few years and recently started working in the Emergency Department at Primary Children’s Hospital. I have always been fascinated with how the human body works, especially when it isn’t working correctly. More recently, I have found an interest in the role that mental health plays in our lives as family members and friends have started to open up about their mental health struggles and triumphs. I am grateful to have the opportunity to learn and provide my talents to serve others.

My family consists of my wife, a 13 year old boy, 11 year old girl, and two dogs. I am always game for anything adventurous. I like to play all sorts of indoor and outdoor sports, camping, building and fixing things, traveling and playing games with friends or family. I don’t have any “hobbies”, I have too many things I like doing to focus on anything specific.
